+1The only movies I can make myself watch at all are pre-1960, particularly the French and Italian movies of the era. Also, some older Russian stuff is not bad. And, of the more recent stuff, Almodovar. I could never stand Hollywood. Hearing Hollywood stuff being called "movies" makes me cringe. They are capital investments, not works of cineastic art. It's like comparing a telephone book to a Dostoevsky's novel just because, technically, they're both "books".
