My motherboard is asus p4bmx
I have installed alsamixergui
It has many controls
but none of them seem to help
IMHO none of replies seem brilliant
Thanks anyway!
I'd rather give up
I remember the intel audio chip work with kernel 2.4
in sarge it has a package that config it correctly
I can install another sound card which I can get it to work in etch
I have get my ISA SB 16 to work ever since
kernel 2.0 and
kernel 2.2 and
kernel 2.4 and
kernel 2.6
This time I fail
Linux sometimes is hard to use
