Is there a good reason why you cannot move one or more of:  the screen, the 
chair, yourself, the desk?

(reading a screen around 15 or 20 cm away, slouching a bit so that the screen 
is dead in front.)  
Raising the screen would, of course, be a much better idea, but harder to 
acieve. :-(
