Segfault in smbpasswd

Smbpasswd returns a segfault with libc.so.6

Using gdb, ruturn this:
#smbpasswd user1

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
---Type <return> to continue, or q <return> to quit---

#uname -a
