Indeed. And if Adobe refuse to maintain the older version there's not
much anyone else can do about it.

You can recover some disk space using 'apt-get clean' or (more
conservatively) 'apt-get autoclean'.

I would do the upgrade, if possible. If not, consider disabling Flash in
the meantime.
