[SOLVED] pivot_root. unmount old root

You're welcome.  But really, you were the one who solved the mystery,
not me.  But I'm glad you have it working.  And good luck to you for the
rest of your project.

By the way, what is the big picture, if you don't mind my asking?  Are you
trying to eventually achieve a "diskless workstation"?  What is the
overall goal here?
