Extreme devotion to the principals of FOSS, and the willingness to
sacrifice usability (confuse users with application naming, for one)
to achieve that goal.
Don't get me wrong, I am _glad_ that Debian takes this stance.
Somebody, especially from the big players, has to. Everybody benefits
from having a big name stand up for us.
