That's not the issue, Jeremy.  Ron didn't ask what Linux distribution
you were running.  He asked what kind of laptop you have.  That is,
give us hardware information (make and model of laptop, type and size
of hard drive, partition information, information on the type of file
system(s) used, what data, if any, do you want to keep from the old
drive, etc.)  A response like that usually doesn't motivate people
to help you.
