Failed to open /dev/ndas

Hi,

I've got following error while I was registering the ndas:

Failed to open /dev/ndas
Check NDAS device file exists, driver module is loaded and started by
administration tool

I can see /dev/ndas:

$ ls -al /dev/ndas
brw-r--r-- 1 root root 60, 256 2010-01-12 00:01 /dev/ndas

Appreciate any advice.
