Re: X server hangs in Debian squeeze after upgrade
Hi!
SAME problem here.
I have an nvidia card (TNT2) using nv driver because the nvidia propietary
driver stopped working after xorg update (nvidia stopped suporting legacy
71.86 drivers). Same problem using vesa driver.
I've updated the KDE4 packages first without problems (no crash), and one day
after that I've updated xorg packages and started to suffer this problem (but
it could have been chance).
The problem happens basically in the same situations that aux describes: "when
i move a window, visit a web or sometime when i move the mouse.".
Dont know how to reproduce the problem... It "seems" to be a random problem to
me (of course it cant be random, but I cant reproduce it deliberately).
The backtrace is almost always EXACTLY the same that aux posted. Only ONCE,
I've got a difference:

The xorg, and xserver packages version are the same that aux posted. I make a
dpkg -l every day (in a cron), so I can show wich packages changed the day the
problem started, if this can help.
I see no relation with bug 474504 suggested by Klaus Wolf.
thanks!!
