Not sure if this is an openarena issue or an xorg issue as both wereupgraded during a squeeze dist-upgrade. Openarena is now unplayableslow on a 2.83GHz core2quad system with 8Gb RAM. Two days ago (beforethe upgrade) it ran like a scalded cat.

There was a new kernel and a new xorg. Can you check if you still havedirect rendering enabled? Check te output of 'glxinfo | grep "directrendering"'If it says no, recompile your video drivers: for nvidia as root 'm-a a-invidia', I guess for an ati 'm-a a-i fglrx'.
