Okay, I'm being a bit dense this year, but given that gnome/evo 2.22 (as
per Lenny on AMD64) isn't supported how would I go about reliably
updating? Thanks, M

There's always bug fixes as long as Lenny support is still available
AFAIK. If you what you meant upgrade (as in from 2.22 to 2.26), then
that is _upgrade_

well I read the below as that the bug in Evo 2.22 wouldn't be looked at since that wasn't supported and I would have to upgrade to Evo 2.26 (which means upgrading Gnome from 2.22 to 2.26).

Updating what? Lenny's GNOME from 2.22 to 2.26, or Lenny to Squeeze?

I want a stable system (so presumably Lenny for now) but one with few bugs (I know zero isn't on!)

This bug was reported against a GNOME version that is now not supported
anymore. GNOME developers are no longer working on that version, so
