The typical message:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda15.
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
in some cases useful info is found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so.

Thanks Roger, I needed to edit fstab from ext3 to ext4, just mark my
post as a brainfart. :) The kernel is working just fine.
