because # fsck.vfat did nothing the first time.

# fsck works

# fsck
fsck 1.41.3 (12-Oct-2008)
e2fsck 1.41.3 (12-Oct-2008)
/dev/sda1 is mounted.

WARNING!!!  Running e2fsck on a mounted filesystem may cause
SEVERE filesystem damage.

but as soon as i add in the .vfat and direct to my path i get command not found
