man 5 interfaces
/The static Method

Something like this:
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
	address 66.93.172.48
	netmask 255.255.255.0
	gateway 66.93.172.1

in /etc/network/interfaces.

man 5 resolv.conf
/nameserver

Something like this:
nameserver 66.92.159.2
nameserver 216.231.41.2

in /etc/resolv.conf.
