debian:/home/mark# xdpyinfo | grep dime
dimensions: 1280x1024 pixels (374x302 millimeters)

This is the size of my screen. I suspect I had it on a smaller
resolution before, and, thus, the larger appearance. I tried, via
grandr, changing the resolution, which produced a better size, but the
clarity was off; so, I guess I'll stick with it as it is. I did adjust
the font in Claws Mail, which helped.

Thanks for the feedback.

xfe is okay, but I prefer emelfm. I tried, and successfully installed
an Ubuntu package of emelfm2, but while it worked, there were too many
issues with it; so, I'll just stick with rox and xfe for now.
