thanks, but I get this:
"No packages will be installed, upgraded, or removed.
0 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not
upgraded."

it seems strange to me as in the past there were frequent updates. I
would like to be somehow sure
its not any malware messing with system.
