Re: Recommendation wanted for cheap PCI graphics card with S-Video TV out?

Hello,

I'm going to add a cheap graphics card (with S-Video TV out) to an old PC so that I can display the PC's output on an old(ish) TV.

I have a cable to connect the S-Video connector on the graphics card to the TV. I just need the graphics card.

The TV is wide screen, CRT, 50Hz..

I'm not after a high spec 3D board as I'm only going to use this setup to play back previously saved mpeg DVB streams (mostly sourced from Film4 at 720x576 resolution)

Is anyone using old / low spec PCI TV out cards for this kind of set up?
Any recommendations for cards?
Any I should steer clear of?

Most any nVidia PCI card will do what you want but getting an older PCI card from an internet store could be a problem, best chance would be ebay or amazon. 316 Results for "nVidia PCI" at amazon.com
