If you can't reproduce it what can you do?

In the kernel bootup messages:

root@box:/var/cache/apt/archives# dmesg | grep pci=routeirq
[    0.448613] PCI: If a device doesn't work, try "pci=routeirq".  If it helps, post a report

Although it doesn't say where to post the report. :-(
