Hello and Merry Christmas to *,
For some time I had announced that I am developing an "24V DC modular
ATX PSU" which works with solar energie and now the development is
nearly done...
The last thing I need is the Microcontroller and the coding of the
USBHID-PDU part which is the hell since I have no clue about USB
So, I have the choice between:
1) Maxim DS89C450 + MAX3420 + MAX1036/8
(which is since today proven to work)
2) Atmel AT89C5131 (ordered FreeSample for two days)
3) Microchip PIC32MX450 (I am running into a backorder problem)
4) Atmel AT91SAM7S(E)
which is definitively the killer under the four Microcontrollers but
the only one which can run Linux on it...
All I need is to capture the values (voltage, ampere, temp, fanspeed)
from a bunch of I²C devices and exploit them to a USB endpoint (output)
for reading (e.g. NUT->Network UPS Tools)... Easy?
Hell, it is christmas amd my brain is smoking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Does anyone know, how to write the USBHID-PDU part?
OK, there is one thing, maybe I need a USB endpoint for input, to setup
the "24V DC modular ATX PSU" to use 24V Gelified Pb-Sn or 25.9V Li+ or
Li-Polymer batteries... and maybe the UVP/OVP.
I have gputils, piklab, sdcc and what else available... 100% Linux tools
Any Help welcome.
Thanks, Greetings and Merry Christmas
