I use fcitx (chinese input method program) and xterm. I set fcitx so that pressing the key "Shift" would toggle between chinese character input method and english letter input method. I can use this setting in other X application, including xfce4-terminal, but not in xterm. I guess this problem may be related to xterm options. Any clue about this problem is greatly appreciated.
