My Debian box keeps showing the wrong time, I reconfigured the tzdata package

hour behind the real time.

I just did it now:

bach# date
Fri Aug 29 17:39:33 EDT 2008

bach# dpkg-reconfigure tzdata

Current default timezone: 'America/New_York'
Local time is now:      Fri Aug 29 17:39:35 EDT 2008.
Universal Time is now:  Fri Aug 29 21:39:35 UTC 2008.

The current time is 19:39 not 17:39 ! This is so annoying. Anyone know
how I can fix this?

maybe your UTC is wrong.

bye,

Michael.
