I don't know quite what you mean when you say "the numbers do not
match," but this may help you:
http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=site%3Alexmark.com+T630+driver&ei=UTF-8&fr=moz2

Click the first link. Lexmark's website is "suboptimal" at both
searching and finding relevant information, but Yahoo does "search" for
a living.

I certainly hope this helps. BTW, I went to www.lexmark.com with both
_javascript_ and Flash turned off.
Thanks for replying, what I ment by "numbers do not match" was when you are in the printer folder (I am running gnome) and double click on 'new printer' .  The window that pops up has the default setting to look for local printer.  It has detected my Lexmark T630 printer (yahooooo).  I click on the 'Forward' button to the second window...printer driver.  I change manufacturer to Lexmark.  The only 'T' series printers I see are the 'Optra'.  The 'NUMBER's that I see are T610, T612, T614, T616.  This is after I installed the "print-drivers-linux-glibc2-x86.deb" that I downloaded from there web site.

Maybe you saw the icon on their web site...or not.  But, I would assume that if I saw that icon on there site, why could I not download that plugin?  Weird.

I will try your links.   Thanks  again.
Jonathan
