PCI: BIOS Bug: MCFG area at e0000000 is not E820-reserved
Hi you all,
I got this line in dmesg output and my PCI audio card (Terratec DMX 6fire) not working at all.
Can someone tell me if this bug (a kernel bug probably, http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=480513) prevents PCI cards from working? or my audio card has compatibility problems with recent motherboards?
I recently updated my linux box to AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ on an ASUS M3A motherboard, debian lenny and 2.6.24-1 kernel.
