But I did a quick google: how to print cli cups and found this http://www.g-loaded.eu/2005/11/10/using-a-cups-printer-from-command-line/ and tried this: lpr README and what do you know? It printed! I knew about lpr, but having never set up lpr (always used cups) I did not know that would work. So, I got it printed and did not spend a lot of time trying to figure it out. -- Damon L.
