lvm root partition was full, deleted data -but still reports it is full.HELP!!

Guys- got a big problem.

I had my / lvm partition reported as being out of diskspace.

I deleted a lot of the files...you can see below....

I have about 30gig free..but it is still being reported as full..

Can anyone help me ???
