Re: "education" has made my debian mentally challenged

Hi,

	I'm running sid.

I've had the "education" packages installed for awhile... last week,
an update came out for them which has completely broken the package manager,
making it impossible to upgrade further. I get a message like this for every
"education-*" package:

domus:~# dpkg --force-remove-reinstreq --purge education-chemistry
dpkg - warning, overriding problem because --force enabled:

Is there any safe, sane way I can either remove these 50-some-odd
packages or get them to install correctly?

	Thanks,

I struggled with the same stuff with education-astronomy on my sidux system... There are bug reports for this and the .825 packages are supposed to fix it. I eventually believe that this straightened it out for me (but don't hold me to it as I was trying all kinds of stuff and it was a couple days ago): dpkg --force-all -i /var/cache/apt/archives/education-astronomy_0.825_amd64.deb
