I'll second that. My Iceweasel isn't opening for links from Icedove, and I've just had to switch to cifs as the new kernel doesn't do smbfs and I've now got a gdm segfault and the dreaded CIFS-VFS shutdown hang, so I can't just click the box and walk away any more.
Sid is fairly civilised most of the time, but when it bites, you certainly know about it.
