cpufreq

Hello
I tried to active the cpufreq tools, but I did not success, :-(.

I already write in the file '/etc/modules' the cpufreq modules, there are: cpufreq_userspace
	cpufreq_conservative
	cpufreq_powersave
	cpufreq_ondemand
	cpufreq_stats
	freq_table

after reboot we can see that all the modules was already mounted, see below:
gusti@pr100:~$ fgrep cpufreq /proc/modules cpufreq_stats 5408 0 - Live 0xf0ad3000
	freq_table 4576 1 cpufreq_stats, Live 0xf0ad0000
	cpufreq_ondemand 6636 0 - Live 0xf0acd000
	cpufreq_powersave 1920 0 - Live 0xf08df000
	cpufreq_conservative 7304 0 - Live 0xf0aca000
	cpufreq_userspace 4448 0 - Live 0xf0ac7000
and: gusti@pr100:~$ fgrep freq_table /proc/modules freq_table 4576 1 cpufreq_stats, Live 0xf0ad0000

but I still can't use 'cpufreq-info', see below:
	cpufrequtils 002: cpufreq-info (C) Dominik Brodowski 2004-2006
Report errors and bugs to linux@brodo.de, please.
	analyzing CPU 0:
no or unknown cpufreq driver is active on this CPU

And the directory 'the directory '/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/' not exist, see below:
	gusti@pr100:~$ ls -l /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/
	total 0
	-r-------- 1 root root 4096 2007-12-31 10:09 crash_notes
	drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 0 2007-12-31 10:09 topology

Any Idea what is the problem ?

Thank in advance,
      Gustavo.

BTW: I have a Toshiba Portege R100, and I'm using the Debian stable with the official kernel image 2.6.18-5-586.
