What if, he do not need any X-Releted stuff because he has no x-desktop,
no bloatware because he can not use it (maybe he live in a country where
he is lucky to have a Am486dx4-100 with 64 MByte of memory -- I know some
people in middle-africa which use such computers with DOS-Programs...
which could be replaced by a GNU/Linux system...)

The problem is, that NOT ALL users can read usenet...

I do not like the console-irc-clients under linux...
The DOS ones went better...  :-)  long time ago...
