Of course, as the head of the federal crime police, Jörg Ziercke is
(officially) independent of his party's line (he is a member of the
SPD). But no, Ziercke is not the exception to the general consensus, he
is the driving force behind the demand for online searches. The article
we talk about is (probably inadvertently) greatly misleading about that.
