Man wget offers no help, nor was /usr/share/doc/wget. However, I did
stumble on $ info wget, and this had a section that lists the commands.
I can now run $ wget without a syntax error, although I can't retrieve
anything because I've lost HTTP conectivity because my /etc/mtab is
gone (see my next query).
