Another option, for the unaware, is to ignorespace (in fact, there's
also ignoreboth), which will not add to the bash history file anything
preceded by a space.  So, "cd /somewhere" and " cd /somewhere" will
both work, the latter won't get added to the history.

Obviously, ignoreboth is the same as setting "ignoredups:ingnorespace".
