This problem was solved thanks to Cameron in the last post.
This problem was on an AMD Athon and I didn’t have the problem with another
intel Pentium 4 comptuer. What I did was edit /etc/udev/rules.d/z25_persistent-net.rules
and changed the mac addres for eth0 to ? marks like he said and rebooted and
now I have a static address on etho. Thanks to all for your help. Michael Kerwin |
