I've been pretty happy with the desktop system I bought from system76. (that's http://www.system76.com) Their computers come with Ubuntu installed, but Debian runs just fine too. The only sticking points are that hibernation doesn't work, and it uses an NVidia card (which I'm ambivalent about; acceleration is nice, but the driver situation is not). Daniel
