Seemed a good place to start. :) The only time I was in your situation
(needing to print a non-printable pdf), I just went ahead and printed it
with xpdf (my regular pdf reader). No errors, no warnings, it just
seemed to ignore the supposed lock.
Well maybe I was lucky... good luck!
