Well, this isn't a purge, but I suggest installing docpurge and localepurge.
Also, I've always been annoyed by the installation of hplip, at least as
a part of the default GNOME install. Not only is this of no use to me (I
have a PS/PCL HP printer on a CUPS server) it takes up disk space /and/
memory--there are daemons started at boot time.
