xdtv - is suddenly closed during channel scanning

Hi,

I have problem with xdtv program. When I try to scan channels it is 
always suddenly closed by some error.

Terminal shows the following during start:

/davidoski@c17-19:~$ xdtv

This is xdtv 2.4.0 running on Linux/i686 (2.6.18-4-486).

After lounch of the program it starts searching channels and suddenly 
crushes:

I really miss the program that is able to record TV. Maybe somebody has 
an idea what is the problem.
I would be greatful for any help.
