Hi Benjami,
I'd suggest you look into libusb rather than the visor module for syncing
your palm. I found that it works much better, and in particular you do not
have to wait for /dev/ttyUSB0 to appear. Change the device in jpilot to
"usb:" and blacklist the visor module. See also:
