Well said.  The developers of Sidux specifically say to run apt-get
dist-upgrade frequently because of dependency issues due to fast
changing packages.  There is no upgrade distribution to Sid, unless one
wants to try experimental, but that would be really foolish.  Sid is
unstable enough thank you very much.
