SDF accounts (available at www.freeshell.org) offer many of the standard tools, including links. For access to some tools, you have to pay a one-time fee of $1, others are only available after you upgrade your membership for $35. I have the $1 membership and get links (but not screen and ssh, and irc only on Sundays (I kid you not!)). Don't remember whether links was accessible before I payed my $1. HTH, --j
