yes! that went perfect for two years. last week we lost many electronic data of our (small) business because essent (energy-producer and distributor) failed for five minutes while i was backing up to another hd in the same machine. so: i am repairing all (two weeks work) and i *will* use not-rewritable dvd's because they seem maybe more than a hd independent of external factors.
(this is not completely true of course; like most statements).
