Problem with Quantum DLT V4 tape drive

Hello,

I have a problem with a Quantum DLT V4 tape drive on a Debian Sarge system with kernel 2.6.16-2-686-smp. The streamer is correctly detected during start up, but it is not possible to write anything to the tape. I will always get a "Device or resource busy" error message.

Here comes some debug output:

_dmesg_

Has anyone an idea, what is wrong here?

Cheers, Mario
