Wow. How are you copying. What desktop environment (if any) are you
using? Are you using the OpenOffice packages with support for the DE
(i.e., GNOME or KDE)?

Type of code copy-pasted in generally C/C++, rarely awk, php, python or ruby.
When copy-pasting unformatted code (Edit->Paste Special or
Ctrl+Shift+V) nothing is happen, copied code appear in OO window.
When copy-pasting same code in AbiWord everything is normal.

Debian version unstable, dist-upgraded last week.

* DE Gnome : Version 2.14.3, Bulid Date 08/08/2006

* openoffice.org-writer/testing upgradeable from 2.0.4.dfsg.2-3 to
2.0.4.dfsg.2-4

* scite/testing uptodate 1.71-1

* xserver-xorg/testing uptodate 1:7.1.0-11

* fglrx-driver/testing uptodate 8.28.8-4 (last ATI drivers with Radeon
9200 (RV280) support)

* Linux debian 2.6.17-2-vserver-k7 #1 SMP Wed Sep 13 19:32:15 UTC 2006
i686 GNU/Linux

bash --version GNU bash, version 3.1.17(1)-release (i486-pc-linux-gnu)

Could be blamed (old) ATI proprietary drivers for this problem ?
