I know Jeep is having a similar problem. It was worse a decade or so
ago when the Suzuki Samurai was a big deal. People would use the
small-j "jeep" to refer to the Samurai and other vehicles that were
similar to the Jeep CJ and Jeep Wrangler. I notice that my spellcheck
in KMail recognizes small-j "jeep" as a legitimate word (but it doesn't
recognize spellcheck and does recognize KMail). It also shows up in
the KDE dictionary search as a "regular" word.
