apt-listbugs BTS #244555 ... How does one tell if the BTS is down?



I just did a Sarge "aptitude update && aptitude upgrade" and it
tripped over apt-listbugs.  The error is as described in BTS
#244555[*].  So, to verify I'm experiencing the same thing, how do I
confirm the BTS is down, if indeed it is?

I've re-run it three times now with about fifteen minutes between
each.  Same result each time:
