Re: wireless problems with wpa
i found that it's necessary to use -Dwext switch to get rid of the ioctl
message. sorry for the noise.
it seems i was a bit too optimistic :(
the led on my notebook indicates, that the connection with the AP is
established. it remains so for some seconds, but then it starts blinking
again (as if it is trying to find an AP to associate with). wavemon
indicates the same thing - the intervals associated/not associated
change regularly. also, when i use, e.g., ping, it works only when AP is
associated. wpa_supplicant repeatedly spits the following
a# wpa_supplicant -ieth2 -c/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf -Dwext
