No Sound with snd_hda_intel
Hi,
after installing etch using the latest netinstall image, sound works fine if I use the debian kernel (2.6.17-2-686).
However, sound does not work if I use a self compiled 2.6.19.1 kernel that uses exactly the same sound module as the debian kernel (snd_hda_intel, snd_hda_codec, snd_mixer_oss, snd_pcm_oss, snd_pcm
snd_timer, snd, soundcore, snd_page_alloc).
Using the 2.6.19 kernel there are no error messages when loading snd_hda_intel, alsa tools e.g. alsamixer works fine, however there is no sound ...
