Etch is running here with kernel 2.6.16. Xfce is working; the desktop contains only the icons for Skype and for the terminal viewer. A small viewer on the desktop showing the date & time would be helpful. Is that possible? Please hint at what should be installed and configured. Thanks, ... Peter E.
