IANAL so I couldn't say if the license allows re-packaging and
re-distribution :-) What I can report is that the VMWare de-installer
does de-install properly (I checked that using tripwire). It also seems
to be possible to use checkinstall (in the package named the same) to
do the installation and get a Debian package for your own private use
(if the license allows that of course, again IANAL).
